Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4

Since most brands and sponsors are on the look-out for the next ‘it’ rock band to manufacture for the mainstream audience with their conventional musical formula’s,  perhaps they aren’t ready yet for progressive rock bands and their long experimental sound. Although, with the help of PhilMusic.com, Rakista.com (Rocker in Filipino), Modular Display, Inc., and the Colony, the movement is striving to calling out to more artists to listen and help keep the music alive.

PhilMusic.com, one of the largest music scene resource in the Philippines, has written a news article on the Progression III event entitled Odd Times: Local Progressive Community Gets It Together.  The article is a call for support from members of the community and for the rest who frequent the music scene to take notice of this particular genre and it's bands.

There aren't any fancy or big brands sponsoring these bands yet. Venues are also held in smaller bars.
