Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4
The currently active Pinoy Prog Community was initiated by Eric Tubon in October 2005. The Colony first began with the hope of creating a community of listeners and fans for Fuseboxx. Because of this, other progressive bands were created and became part of the scene. What started as a small community has now evolved into a movement. According to Abby Clutario, Fuseboxx’s lead singer and keyboardist, “the movement was formed for prog bands, artists, and listeners to unite and help build awareness of prog music here in the Phils.”
Members of the community, The Colony, spend a day to hangout with Fuseboxx and get together. This gives the fans and community of progressive rock the opportunity to meet other fans like themselves.
Listen to the sound of progressive bands play in the lastest In-Progression III event held last September, 26, 2008 in 9mile Bar where the bands wowed the crowd dressed in their black basics and sneakers. Their fashion style is simple and still has the usual rock band attitude.
